Our business hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday thru Thursday, and 9 am to 1 pm Friday. Friday is considered a full working day. Orders are ready for pickup at 4:30 pm on the day due Monday thru Thursday and 12 noon on Friday. Dalmatian employees are encouraged to enjoy their weekends.
AFTER HOURS NIGHT DROP
A night drop box is located outside our office for your convenience. Envelopes are supplied to identify your order with your name, address, telephone numbers and special instructions.

ORDERING BY MAIL
Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab gladly accepts orders by USPS or other couriers. Payment should accompany your order. We accept checks, Visa, or Mastercard. When charging, please include the card number, expiration date, billing address, and the name as it appears on the card. Standard shipping is UPS Ground. Rates increase for larger sizes. Standard (UPS Ground) shipping charges are located in pricing charts on this website. Overnight, Next Day, 2nd Day and other courier services are available upon request. If your order is to be returned by another courier, simpy enclose a self-addressed shipping label with your order. Please call for international shipping rates.
TURNAROUND & PRIORITY SCHEDULING
Orders received by 12 noon will be marked as first working day. Orders received after 12 noon will be dated next day as first working day. Please remember that scheduling is based on working days only (Monday through Friday). Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab gladly offers priority scheduling or rush orders if scheduling permits. Not all jobs can be considered for priority service, and technical problems may prohibit fulfilling a priority-scheduled order. During Christmas and wedding season (April – June) we suggest that you call us to discuss your priority service needs before ordering. Holiday schedules will be posted. If scheduling is necessary during non-business hours, overtime hours are available at a rate of $300 for the first four hours per day and $50 per additional hour plus production rush charges. All overtime arrangements must be made before 4 pm during normal business hours.
Orders must be paid in full at the time of pickup. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard and Visa. Charge accounts are available to rated clients with a minimum monthly activity of $200 for at least 12 months prior to account set-up; please call or e-mail for a credit application. A late fee of 2% per month will be applied to any past due balances. A $25 fee is applied to all returned checks.
CANCELLED & REVISED ORDERS
Should you contact us to cancel or revise your order after work has begun, you will be charged for work completed only to that point. Major order revisions will extend our standard turnaround for that order.
Please contact us immediately if you are dissatisfied with your finished order for any reason. If your order is damaged in transit, please contact UPS or FedEx as well. Should a remake be necessary, please be sure to return your original print(s), the original order envelope with printing instructions, a copy of the work order or your original instructions, and specific remake instructions. Orders for remakes must be returned within 10 days of the original completion date. We will remake without charge an order which is unacceptable due to error on our part. Orders will not be remade under the following circumstances:
1. When a match to an original was desired, but the original was not furnished as a guide.
2. When we followed your instructions, even though the results were not what you expected.
3. When you requested that we “use our best judgment” for print quality and/or crop.
4. When no guide print was furnished and no approval print was requested prior to printing.
Dalmatian makes every effort to provide you with prints of exceptional longevity; however, environmental factors do play a role in the lifespan of your prints. Prints should be framed and matted in archival materials to maintain their lifespan. Prints should be allowed to “breathe,” meaning they should not be sealed air-tight in the frame. Prints that are displayed in direct sunlight or are exposed to certain chemicals, excess heat and humidity or other environmental pollutants may cause a shift or degradation in your print. Dalmatian is not responsible for such changes to your prints if not displayed or stored in the proper environment. Whenever possible, frame your images under glass beneath an acid-free matte to protect the image and do not display in direct sunlight.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab respects the rights of all artists and photographers to their copyrighted materials. We accept copyrighted materials only if written permission for reproduction has been granted by the copyright owner. The customer further agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab for any costs or judgments resulting from claim for copyright infringement by the owner or his lawful assigns. Limitation of Liability: Although Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab takes every precaution to safeguard your film, prints, digital files, and other materials, your submission of materials to us constitutes an agreement that any damage or loss by Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab or its agents will entitle you only to replacement of the raw materials (or their values), even though damage or loss resulted from our negligence. No other warranty is implied or expressed and recovery by the customer of any incidental or consequential damages is hereby excluded. Dalmatian Black & White Custom Lab cannot be responsible for materials left unclaimed for more than 30 days after completion of service. All prices and service specifications are subject to change without advance notice. We will not assume any liability for orders lost in transit to or from us by US Mail, UPS, or any other delivery.
